We are constantly working on projects around the United Kingdom and in developing regions around the world, see below for some of our main projects.
Completed Projects
Greetland Gold Stars
We teamed up with West Yorkshire Sport to provide £500 of funding for the Greetland Gold Stars to purchase football kits for 24 players that play in their 3 disability football teams. They are based at 3Gi in Halifax and have entered the West Riding Ability Counts leagues. It provides disabled children and adults with a chance to play football without any of the pressures.
World Challenge in Morocco
We sponsored a World Challenge project which meant that 3 sixth form pupils from Connah’s Quay High School could go to Morocco to help out in renovating a school. This involved cementing two large areas of the playground, building a rock garden, repainting a toilet block and digging out several new paths around the playground.
In 2014, Evergreen PA supported the Highlanders Bosso Juniors football team based in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. This a community team that is loved by the whole nation, they will never walk alone (ayisoze ibulawe). We provided them with football kits and football boots.
Highlanders Under 18s FC
Yorkshire Lions Football Club
The Yorkshire Lions is a football club/academy based in Warren Side, Deighton, Huddersfield. There are two teams (under 11′s and under 12′s) who play regularly in the junior football league. The players are extremely passionate about the game and many want to progress to become professional football players in the future.
Huddersfield Community Gospel Choir
The Huddersfield Community Gospel Choir is a 31 member strong gospel choir based in Huddersfield. The choir provides an opportunity to promote the art of singing using the music genre of gospel music in the local area. It acts to engage with people who have a desire to sing but don’t know how.
Upcoming Projects
Stationary for Ghana Schools
We are currently arranging a project to send stationary to a number of schools in Ghana. This project is expected to be completed by summer 2015.
Zambian VSO project
We have sponsored Zaliwe Chapusha from Manchester to take part in a placement where her aim is to engage young people in promoting community health in Zambia.
Beeston Broncos
Beeston Broncos is a rugby club based in Leeds, we are working with them to purchase new kits for their under 8 and under 9 teams.
Kirklees Wheelchair Sports Club
We are working with the Kirklees Wheelchair Sports Club which runs wheelchair rugby and wheelchair basketball to purchase a new wheelchair.
Chapeltown Cougars
We are working with the Chapeltown Cougars Junior Rugby League Club to help them purchase kits for their players.
Manningham Football Academy
We are working with the Manningham Football Academy to fund new kits for their junior football team.
